The purpose of the Texas Environmental Law Journal is to provide members of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and the public with legal articles and recent development columns on relevant environmental and natural resources law issues. The Journal also provides new of Section activities and other events pertaining to this area of law. The Journal is the leading source for articles on Texas environmental and natural resources law.
The most recent issue of the Journal features a detailed and national overview of the current status of permitting of greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act as well as an article focused on Texas’ groundwater conservation districts’ enforcement authority. Our student notes this issue provide insights into legal and policy issues associated with oceanic garbage and review the effectiveness of the federal government’s recent efforts to incentivize clean energy technology.
